A little about me:

Hello, I am Sachin Kerkar. I have been living in the Detroit Metro area for the last 25 years with my dear wife and 2 lovely children.

I started photography (rather snapshots) with the first point and shoot film camera that my dad got back in the 1980s. However, in those days living as a middle class family in Mumbai, India it was financially not possible to practice this creative art, but the desire always lingered. Finally, about 10 years ago I got myself a professional Nikon digital camera to pursue this hobby. I started to teach myself, photographing my family and friends, in our wonderful neighborhoods and while travelling.

Lately, with both my kids moving to college, a desire has kindled to share my photography passion and serve the loving families in our community to artistically craft memories that would be there to last and cherish forever.
